The IPL 2020 auction is over and everyone has bought players according to their mind. He was born on 2 March 1991. He was bought the RPS team for IPL 2017 in Inr.10 lakhs. In 2018, he was bought by RR (Rajasthan Royals). Rahul Tripathi was leading run-scorer for Maharashtra in 2018-2019 Ranji-Trophy. 

Rahul was released by Rajasthan royals of 2020 Indian Premier League auction. And in 2020 Indian Premier League auction, Rahul Tripathi (RT) was bought by the KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders).
