Kashi Vishwanath Express Breaks Ties with Varanasi Station After 43 Years

Due to the proposed remodeling work at Varanasi railway station, Kashi Vishwanath Express will now be run from Manduadih station. In such a situation, the 43-year-old connection of the train broke from Varanasi Junction.
Varanasi -The first train from Kashi to New Delhi, Kashi Vishwanath, broke the connection with Varanasi railway station after 43 years. From Thursday, this train will go from Manduadih station instead of Varanasi Junction.
It is worth mentioning that this train started in the year 1977 with the efforts of the then Railway Minister Kamalapati Tripathi, which was then flagged off by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Due to the proposed remodeling work at Varanasi station, the railway administration has decided to run Kashi Vishwanath Express from Manduadih station from January 2. It is decided not only to Kashi Vishwanath but also to run five other trains from Manduadih station. 
According to the information, 14257 Varanasi-New Delhi Kashi Vishwanath Express, which departs from Varanasi on Thursday, was given platform no. Senior technician/carriage / Manduwadih Jamuna Yadav left at 8 am to 1:30 pm.
On this occasion Divisional Railway Manager Vijay Kumar Panjiar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra) Praveen Kumar, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Rohit Gupta, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sanjeev Sharma, Senior Divisional Operations Manager (General) AK Saxena, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Carriage & Wagon Mr. BP Singh, Assistant City Engineer Mr. NK Pathak and station staff were present.
